DEFINING WOKE

MAKE AMERICA GRATE AGAIN

No one has ever actually defined woke, so I am going to give it a go here.

1. Woke is empathizing with the poor.
2. Woke is caring about and wanting to end injustice.
3. Woke is confronting one's nation about its problems in the hope that it can get better.
4. Woke is empathizing with people that society does not treat with simple respect.
5. Woke is addressing the system-embedded, institutionalized social issues a nation has.

6. Woke is caring so much about those needs and being so angry about the resistance and suppression of those interests by the political and religious right that there is a tear the whole thing down mentality arising with reference to social norms, religious beliefs, psychological concepts, government institutions, and political ideologies.

Yep. We're screwed!

If we can't get together on these matters, we're finished.
