NOTHING TO SAY

Galatians 3:1  O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.
:2  Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?

Galatians 5:7  You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?
:8  This persuasion is not from him who calls you.
:9  A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
:10  I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is.
:11  But if I, brothers, still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed.
:12  I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves!

NOTHING TO SAY

All of the essence is missing
The substance of life fades away
What were you thinking in giving
us only your egos’ grim play

Can’t you see we are starving
hungry for something from love
The spirit of God rests on Jesus
in the form of God’s perfect dove

The voice we are longing for happens
when God is enthroned in our heart
because we have found we’re forgiven
and now all we want is God’s part

Your cold moral doctrine is seeping
like putrid corruption inside
You were supposed to know Jesus
Yes, You should have been Jesus’ bride

But you have embraced man’s approval
Their smiles are all that you crave
and so you resort to what men seek
advice on how we should behave

And that has always been with us
a species long fallen from grace
You worship the pleasures of this life
Your hypocrite’s heart’s a disgrace

Like Cain and like Judas, you murder
The one who is righteous with God
Your walk is the evil you conjure
Your feet are with arrogance shod

And so you are empty of meaning
And so you got nothing to say
And all of your charm is for nothing
Your words are all stubble and hay

And they will be burned in God’s fire
And where will your soul then reside?
Who married the esteem of people
when you should have been Jesus’ bride
