SATURATED

GET WHO YOU ARE FROM GOD 
LEAVE THE REST

1John 5:18  We know that whatsoever is born of God sins not; but that which is begotten of God keeps itself, and that wicked one touches it not.
:19  And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

SATURATED

There is so much self-promotion
Everyone's a politician
Everyone's a celebrity
I'm saturated with this grime
Can't stand the boast of damaged souls
Can't stand ego's manic clueless pride

Everybody’s up on stage
Everyone is full of shame
Everyone is broken glass
No one seems to know their name


There's so much soul pollution
Everyone's running far away
Escaping is the reason for existence
I'm just so saturated with this grime
wherever I turn are damaged egos
Can't stand all this hopeless, clueless pride

Everybody’s up on stage
Everyone is full of shame
Everyone has a wounded heart
No one seems to know their name


I live in a world that's passing
And everyone seems good with that
Leaves me feeling so alone here
Like I'm a ghost, and no one sees me
I'm saturated, and I cry to God and
I am touching howling souls on fire
Can't stand all this hopeless bankrupt pride

Everybody’s so committed
to this life of dying pride
No one thinks to turn to Jesus
No one wants to be His bride
