IN THE GREEN

Living in the soft green pastures
of the Sheppard of my soul
I will sing with bursting passion
He will make me whole

I was lost in such rebellion
I was God of my own life
I was blind to His great mercy
I was full of strife

Jesus came to me with sorrow
blood and water pouring down
from the wounds  of my redemption
He didn't make a sound

And I was standing naked, humbled
He was full of righteousness
Sacrificing all to save me
from my phony mess


Help me God turn from my own strength
Help me Jesus trust in You
I am righteous in Your mercy
not by what I do

Lord of Glory, righteous Sheppard
I bow down before your love
I was lost before you found me
You are so enough
