KISS ME LOVER This song is more from the Prophet of Doom that God called me to be. I realize there are many people who want to advance their place in the kingdoms of this world who weaponize the idea that the world is coming to an end, and they use this idea to suggest that this gives them the right to condemn other humans, and to live out selfish lives, while expecting God to excuse them from the suffering all humans will undergo at the end of this age of disrupted harmony with God. Yet, there is something that is precious to a human in this idea of God ending our collective ego-constructed existence and replacing it with his existence of deep harmony with Him and with everything he has made. We badly need our artificially, and highly suppressed, pride, and self-loathing ego generated existence to end. And it would be really very nice if it could be Love that ended it (and not fear or pride). It is that use of the idea of the end of the world I am deploying in this song sung by someone who is living through this time. I sense we are already wading into this time of ending. I could be wrong. Human have been wrong about that many times over the past few thousand years or so. Yet things do end, don’t they, even after we expected them to for years and they didn’t. This has unfolded on a smaller scale in our species long history many times. I see it unfolding on the largest scale, as the time many civilizations conceived of it as unfolding. Both the ancient Vedic culture and the ancient Hebrew culture described the arrival of the end being a part of a downward spiral of decadence, in which each succeeding era was worse than the one before it, unil the final, completely corrupt era concluded things. In the Indian culture this was the conceived of as the cycle of 4 Yugas, Krita (Satya), Treta, Dvapara, and Kali. In Ancient Hebrew culture the Prophet Daniel described the succeeding ages of human decadence in terms of a human stature, whose head was of Gold, and descending the length of the man there was sliver, bronze, Iron and Clay. In this song I am singing what I see all who await and hope in God’s, in Love’s resurrection of our spiritually deceased existence will be expressing to each each other. And we can sing this song to each other because we hear Jesus, our husband, singing it to us. I hope this releases some of you from any discomfort you may bring to my sharing of this aspect P.O.D. aspect of God’s use of my life. KISS ME LOVER Kiss me lo-ver on my eyelids and we don't have long This is evening This is darkness And the end of days All we know as life is coming down Kiss me lover till the day dawns and we don't have long All things passing all things dying before they are reborn All there is of life is fading out Hold me lover Do not let go when the world is wrong Lean hard into arms forgiving See my love is strong All you knew as life is dying out Kiss me lo-ver Touch my cold hand for we don't have long Feel it stirring deep inside you like a wedding song All we once desired will be replaced Kiss me loved one Look into to my eyes of perfect peace On the morrow we will rise love to a world of complete joy All our suffering slowly dies away Words, video, audio recording & music © John Brusseau 11/17/2018 {Jellyfish 3}
