AND HERE I AM

AND HERE I AM

Time drags on
and I feel slow
like I am falling
and I don’t know
just where this drama’s
end will be
I just want to feel
Jesus finish me

Time drags on
and I feel slow
like I am falling
into snow
Like I am freezing
where I stand
And I am under
God’s command

Time is bold
to stare like this
My faith is failing
My thoughts amiss
And I am aching 
from this cold
and this is mercy
or so I’m told

And here I am
in Jesus’ arms
This death won’t stay
and it can’t harm
this soul so ransomed
by God’s tears
Watch His love is chasing
all my fears away
